Associate System Engineer Company: IBM Location: Multiple Locations across India Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid Experience: Freshers / Entry-Level Job Overview: • Work on enterprise application development using Java and web technologies • Collaborate with global teams and clients on cloud and AI-driven solutions • Support software development, deployment, and system integration activities • Participate in modern software engineering and DevOps practices • Contribute to application design, testing, and maintenance Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and support applications using Java/JEE technologies • Work with frameworks and scripting languages for web development • Implement transaction management and enterprise integrations • Participate in software testing, debugging, and performance improvements • Apply SDLC concepts and development best practices • Work with DevOps tools and deployment methodologies • Support enterprise application integration and data exchange • Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams Required Skills: • Programming knowledge in Java, C++, Python, or Node.js • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts • Good communication and problem-solving skills • Understanding of databases and application development concepts • Familiarity with web technologies and APIs Preferred Skills: • Exposure to Ruby or Groovy scripting • Knowledge of data access frameworks and batch processing • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools • Familiarity with enterprise application development concepts • Interest in cloud, AI, and hybrid technologies Eligibility Criteria: • BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MCA, or M.Sc in Computer Science/IT-related branches • 2024 or 2025 pass-out candidates only • Minimum 6 CGPA or 60% required • No active backlogs Experience Required: • 0 years (Freshers Eligible)
