The position provides opportunities to work with C#/.NET, SQL, Manufacturing Execution Systems, software integrations, automation, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives. Job Description • The Systems Engineer will support and enhance Emerson's in-house Manufacturing Execution Software and associated databases. The role combines software development, production support, database work, troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration with manufacturing engineering teams and global software development teams. Roles and Responsibilities • Develop full-stack software applications using C#/.NET and SQL. • Support custom Manufacturing Execution Software applications and databases. • Translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering teams to develop and test software features. • Build solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and automation. • Collaborate with global software engineering teams on development and maintenance projects. • Develop and maintain integrations with equipment, devices, and other systems. • Design and document software solutions using Object-Oriented techniques. • Manage source code using TFS and Azure DevOps. • Investigate and resolve production software issues. • Provide software support and troubleshooting for manufacturing systems. • Perform basic database administration on Windows and SQL Server environments. • Contribute ideas for software improvements and process automation. • Work on digital transformation initiatives involving data transformation and Power BI. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Eligibility Criteria • Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines. • BCA, MCA, BCS, and MCS candidates are also eligible. • Understanding of software development and Object-Oriented Design. • Knowledge of Microsoft development technologies and Windows. • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues. • Good written and verbal English communication. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
