Job Description • Firstsource Solutions Limited is hiring Associate Software Engineers to develop, test, and maintain backend applications and cloud-based services. The role involves building Python applications, working with MySQL databases, developing REST APIs, and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure. Candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams while gaining experience on enterprise-scale cloud projects. Roles and Responsibilities • Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python. • Build application features and backend services. • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas. • Design and consume REST APIs for application integration. • Integrate applications with internal and third-party services. • Deploy, monitor, and support applications on Microsoft Azure. • Debug and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments. • Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation. • Collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams in an Agile environment. • Contribute to clean, scalable, and maintainable code. • Support continuous improvement and software quality initiatives.
