Job Description • ReliaQuest is hiring Associate Software Engineers in Pune to develop and enhance its GreyMatter cybersecurity platform. The role is suitable for early-career software developers with experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. Engineers will work on REST APIs, integrations, automation, CI/CD, and cloud-based technologies while contributing to security solutions used by enterprise customers worldwide. Roles and Responsibilities • Research and develop software solutions using modern technologies. • Develop REST APIs and integrations between different products and services. • Build and enhance microservices using Java and Spring Boot. • Contribute to the continuous integration and deployment of software applications. • Perform code reviews and follow software engineering best practices. • Automate and improve different stages of the software development lifecycle. • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues. • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. • Support team members and contribute to a collaborative engineering environment. • Develop solutions that improve threat detection and security automation. • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the GreyMatter security platform. Eligibility Criteria • 0–1 years of software development experience. • Experience with Java. • Knowledge of Spring Boot. • Understanding of microservices architecture. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Understanding of software development lifecycle practices. • Knowledge of unit testing. • Familiarity with CI/CD practices. • Understanding of Agile methodology. • Relevant higher education or technical certifications are advantageous. Good to Have • Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, Apache Spark, Logstash, Hadoop/Hive, TensorFlow, Kibana, Athena, Presto, or BigTable. • Experience with Angular or React. • Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Experience with cloud-based applications. • Knowledge of automation and DevOps practices. • Exposure to cybersecurity or security platforms.
