Systems/Software Engineer I • Hybrid role with approximately 2 days per week from the office • Experience: 1–3 years • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • Domain: Software Testing, QA, Networking Role Overview • Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and test data • Perform functional, system, regression, integration, and performance testing • Analyze test results and identify software defects • Track defects and work with developers on resolution • Validate fixes and perform regression testing • Participate in requirement and design reviews • Contribute to test automation initiatives • Improve QA processes, testing practices, and documentation Required Skills • Software testing and QA fundamentals • Manual testing and basic test automation • Test case design and defect lifecycle • API and UI testing • L2/L3 networking concepts and protocols • System-level testing • SDLC and STLC • Release validation and quality metrics • Troubleshooting and problem-solving • GenAI tools • Good communication skills • Networking certification such as CCNA is preferred Ideal Candidate • 1–3 years of software testing or QA experience • Good understanding of networking and system testing • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Comfortable working with development and QA teams • Willingness to learn automation and modern testing technologies
