Job Description • Zycus is hiring 2026 graduates for its AI-Native Java Engineer Graduate Trainee program in Bengaluru. The role combines Java backend engineering with AI-assisted software development, providing exposure to Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, enterprise databases, and AI-powered development workflows. Trainees will work with experienced engineers to build scalable enterprise applications while learning how AI and agent-based technologies are integrated into modern software systems. Roles and Responsibilities • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Build REST APIs and microservices under the guidance of senior engineers. • Work with databases, data models, and application integrations. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable software code. • Participate in code reviews and technical engineering discussions. • Use AI tools to support coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and technical learning. • Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve development productivity. • Explore emerging AI development tools and engineering practices. • Collaborate with senior engineers on production-grade software development. • Learn how AI-powered applications and agent-based systems are designed. • Develop APIs and backend services capable of interacting with AI systems. • Gain exposure to enterprise AI workflows and automation platforms. • Contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices.
